ABOUT | Red Letter Grant (RLG) is a 501(c)(3) organization and is governed by a Board of Directors. The mission of RLG is to support and empower female entrepreneurs – closing the business leadership gap in Wisconsin. RLG cultivates mentor-peer networks and awards start-up capital to women-owned businesses throughout 18 counties.

Region 1 Program Director coordinates all activities related to executing organizational programs in the ten county Western region including: Buffalo, Clark, Chippewa, Dunn, Eau Claire, Jackson, Pepin, Pierce, St. Croix, and Trempealeau. Duties include, but are not limited to:
Oversee the entire RLG bi-annual application process – accept applications and schedule interviews with applicants + judging panel.
Plan Awards Ceremony – including speaking, invitations, etc.
Work closely with the Region 2 Director and Board to develop a thoughtful outreach strategy that targets women not being reached by current marketing efforts – work to engage new stakeholders in meaningful and culturally conscious ways.
Foster fundraising partnerships within the community.
Staff annual events and serve as a speaker.
Promote and host information sessions to meet women where they’re at throughout the eight-county region. Specific emphasis to outreach with diverse communities.
Develop partnerships within the business community both for hosting events and supporting program functions.
Create and manage the annual budget and assist in compiling the annual report with the Region 2 Director.
Communicate closely with the Board regarding program activities and decision making. This includes preparing this includes bi-annual budget reports and metrics on program successes.
Develop and oversee organization fundraising – including building out major fundraising events, applying for relevant grants, developing a digital fundraising strategy and cultivating, stewarding and expanding all donor relationships.
Market program offerings.
Foster relationships with community stakeholders – in current operating regions and expanded areas. This includes developing meaningful relationships in diverse communities, county economic development groups, chambers, etc.
Skills desired:
Public speaking
Community organizing experience
Ability to anticipate project needs, discern work priorities and meet deadlines with little supervision.
Demonstrated curiosity and willingness to learn new skills.
Excellent interpersonal skills including the ability to build rapport both in person, via email and by phone, with high professionalism.
2-3 years nonprofit experience
Salary: $3,000/month
Hours: Part-Time || March - May and September - November
Approximately 20-30 hours per week.
